IRELAND: Donegal Days

Posted by on Oct 17, 2015 in Uncategorized | No Comments

I rented a car in for the remainder of my time in Ireland. It was a stick on the opposite side so I was a little nervous upon leaving Belfast, but a cute little blond in my hostel assured me I would not regret the decision. She was dead right. I turned on the radio at the rental agency and “Flight of the Valkyries” by Wagner was playing, and that was all I needed to brave the narrow back roads and highways of Ireland.

When I arrived at my sumptuous B&B, I was an old pro again on a stick.

Some of the signs leading down the back roads were sabotaged, and I never did find those bleeding Faeries. Probably hanging out with Nessie anyway.

NEXT STOP GALWAY…
