UNITED KINGDOM: Southampton

The Celebrity Eclipse is going to be my ride back to the States. I thought why not, I’ve been chasing all over Europe for the past six months, never in one place for over six days. It’s time for a little R&R. What better way than to chill out for two weeks on a cruise. I got 85% off the thing on VacationsToGo.com, and although I had to pay that annoying singles supplement, it was still a bargain. Of course, it won’t be all lazing about. The ship stops in Boston, New York, and Bermuda where I will be meeting up with family and friends before flying back to San Diego from Miami. At least I will have a place to call home for two weeks.

Two days of chilling before I get on the ship for two more weeks of chilling. On one day I hit the shopping street to scout out a pork pie hat to complete my Breaking Bad Halloween costume. I already have the shaved head, the van-dyke beard, and the black rimmed, badass prescription sunglasses. I am attending a fancy dress party on Saturday at the Brook, Southampton’s premier rock club. It will feature a popular band called “The Mods” who play Brit Pop from the late Sixties, playing everything from the Kinks to the Small Faces.

Tonights Entertainment – Time to give my head a fresh shave, and tint my beard.

SHRIMP & BURGER – First a burger with sweet potato fries at Shrimp & Burger. I have to say that the quality surpassed most of what I encounter back in the States. This has been a trend. I found superior Blues in Stockholm, incredible Funk in Salzburg, and first rate Jazz in Madrid, all American art forms.

HEISENBERG? – You’re Goddamn Right! – The lead singer of the Mods gave me a shout out from the stage. I’m ready to embark on my ship tomorrow because it brings me closer to meeting up with family and friends in Boston, New York, Bermuda, and points West.

    This looks very attractive, yum-yum!
What a great idea to take a cruise! I’m sure you’ll enjoy the comfort and a good food after traveling steadily for 9 month or more…

You always enjoyed cruises more than me, but this one is tailor made for my needs. I look forward to seeing you & Joe when I dock in Boston.

You will make a great Walter White. Good thinking. My favorite tv character of ALL TIME! If I were there I would make my best attempt as Jesse. Wigger chic! Alas, I will be Walking dead Daryl to my girlfriend the Zombie. knock em dead as Walt.
