THE TRAVEL ZONE: Where Strange Things Come To Pass

Posted by on Apr 6, 2019 in Uncategorized | 2 Comments

At the beginning of 2020, I will be launching a proper blog called The Travel Zone. The new site will focus primarily on the unusual, the outrageous, the bizarre, and the beautiful. Concurrently, I will be starting a companion YouTube channel.

After five years of free-wheeling, unencumbered travel, I will shift gears and become a full-fledged travel blogger and YouTube personality. I wanted to make sure and reach 100 countries and enjoy myself in the process which I completed in only three and a half years in May 2018. Now I have seven months to bounce around Europe and the UK and start birthing this new venture. My usual Nov/Dec pit stop in San Diego will give me the opportunity to put the finishing touches on the new website, improve my writing skills, and sort out my YouTube Channel.

Hopefully, I can do this project justice and come up with something unique and entertaining in the process. My fifth year of adventures will be an easy going romp with time spent researching and conceptualizing “The Travel Zone 2020.” I also have many online courses pertaining to blogging and travel writing to attend to, some of which I have procrastinated on for years. I guess I really wasn’t in any hurry to get back to work.

“You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You’re moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You’ve just crossed over into”… The Travel Zone.
